Safeguarding Officer at Sportclub Match

Integrity is an important part of Sportclub Match. All members and visitors must be able to trust that Sportclub Match acts with integrity. And of course, we do our utmost for this. We treat everyone with respect, including our colleagues. We find bullying, discrimination, (sexual) harassment, and other forms of aggression or violence unacceptable. Yet, things sometimes go wrong. Or almost do. You may then have questions or concerns that you would prefer to keep confidential (for now). Because you don't know what to do about it. Because it concerns a colleague, or your supervisor. Or because it concerns yourself. It can then be a relief to talk to someone with whom you are sure it will remain confidential. Confidentiality remains confidentiality. The confidential counsellor is such a person. They can help you by looking at what is happening together with you. The confidential counsellor can also tell you what you could do next and support you in doing so. The confidential counsellor therefore offers a listening ear and – if you wish – a helping hand. You remain in charge, as only you decide what happens. Everything you say is and remains confidential. The exception to this is criminal offences. Every Dutch citizen must report these. Unwanted conduct and integrity.
