Ever wanted to try squash? Or are you looking for a fun and sporty activity for the weekend? Then this is your chance! On April 11th, Sportclub Match is organising an Open Friday, where everyone is welcome to free to come for a squash.
Whether you're an experienced player or have never held a racket before, everyone can join in! We provide rackets and balls, so all you need to bring is sportswear and a good mood.

Looking for a flexible and affordable space for your rehearsals, workshops, or group classes? Our spacious squash court, transformed into a multi-purpose hall, is perfect for a variety of activities! The space is available for hire from one hour, then per 15 minutes. Sportclub Match is located in the Nieuw Sloten district in Amsterdam Nieuw-West.
Easily accessible by public transport (tram line 2). You can park for free for 90 minutes in the blue zone by car.
Facilities: Mirrors, mats and changing rooms with lockers and showers available.
Music via Bluetooth.
Wooden floor: Ideal for dance classes, yoga, Zumba or other group classes
Dimensions: 9.75 x 6.40 metres, height 6 metres
Capacity: Maximum 20 people
Availability: Every day from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Menno and Bert van Teeseling will ensure a well-structured tournament schedule so that there will be plenty of play at competitive levels. The kitchen at Eetcafé Thijs will naturally be open, keeping you energised throughout the tournament.
If Sebastiaan is available, the winner will play a game against Sebastiaan, and an exhibition game will be played by Sebastiaan Hofman and...?
Sign up by 27 October using the form at the bottom. We have a maximum of 28 participants. Don't wait too long to sign up as it's first come, first served. The entry fee is €12.50, payable on the day of the tournament. Anyone who fancies it can stay for dinner at a reduced rate after the tournament. Meat or vegetarian dish with salad and fries €13.50.

Dear squash players,
Firstly, it's great that you've chosen to play squash at Match. We're very happy about that.
Due to the energy crisis and general inflation, we are also forced to increase our prices. The booking rules are also being tightened. And courts 4 to 7 will become our Match member courts. On Sundays, that will be courts 3 to 7. Exception for PLUS subscribers 90 minutes. For them, an unused reservation of 45 minutes applies twice a day. Tip: With every subscription, after checking in once, you can make a new reservation for the same day.
Prices
The price increases will take effect after an existing subscription expires. So, if you are a member until, for example, 30 October, the price change will take effect upon renewal. Please find the new price list attached. Click here and look on our website.
Reservation rules
A player can only make one unplayed reservation per day for which you have not yet checked in. Once you have checked in, you can still make a reservation if there is availability.
Members and passers-by
From this week, there will be 4 member courts (4 to 7) available during peak hours. This means that as a subscription holder, you can play on one of these 4 courts. If these 4 courts are full, you can still book a court as a non-member, which will incur a charge. Non-members can book the other courts for a fee. Club credit is available for both members and non-members. Tip: if you are a member and are going to play squash with a non-member, book a member's court so that you make use of your subscription.
All subscribers, please check in at the desk with your card before playing squash from now on.
Have you lost your pass? It might be in our lost and found box. Our staff will gladly check for you.
Renew subscription? Did you know you can easily renew it via the I-reservations app or go to https://match.baanreserveren.nl/ . That saves time at the counter.
If you are not satisfied with the changes and wish to cancel, please email us for a refund for the remaining time of your squash membership. Of course, we hope this is not the case.
We realise that these changes are quite drastic and abrupt. This is a transitional phase and we are looking for a good modus operandi for all players and for Match. Our aim is to be able to let everyone squash whenever they want. Please let us know by email what issues you are encountering. The club tournament on Saturday 10 September, led by Nicole Beumer, was a great success.
Enjoying a good squash session with only ladies; that's our Squash Ladies Night. After playing squash, we often have a drink or a small bite with a complimentary bitterball.
The Squash Ladies Night is held once a month on a Thursday from 19:30 to 21:30. Learn new tactics and then play against different ladies; an opponent for every level.
The cost for non-members is €10, which includes a drink and a bitterball.
Members pay £5
For the Gentlemen, a similar evening will be organised on a different Thursday of the month.
