Join the Squash Companies competition!
Are you ready to engage in a sporting battle with your colleagues or squash friends and enjoy yourselves during pleasant evenings? Register your team for the Squash Companies competition and meet other companies and players in a relaxed and competitive atmosphere.

How does it work?

  • Thursday evening, start around 19:00

  • A total of 8 rounds of play (approx. 1 per 5 weeks)

  • Two matches every game night

  • A pleasant chat with snacks and drinks.

Finale & concluding dinner
We're not just ending the league. On the final match night, we are organising a convivial closing dinner for all participating teams. A wonderful opportunity to look back on the league together, honour the winners, and toast to sportsmanship and new connections over good food and drink.

Do you want to put your company in the spotlight during the Squash Company Competition? Become a court sponsor! Your company name or logo will be visible on and around the squash court for a year and will also feature in our online communications.

There are three options:

Menno van Teeseling and Menno's father will ensure a well-structured tournament schedule. Sebastiaan Hofman will be sharing tips and tricks. The kitchen at Eetcafé Thijs will, of course, be open, so you can stay full of energy throughout the tournament.

Club Championships 
Date: Sunday 7th April from 2:00 PM – 5:30 PM. SBN playing strength 8 and 9 or no SBN.
Date: Sunday 21 April from 14:00 – 17:30. SBN playing strength 7 or higher.

Categories: men and women mixed
Please note: your SBN level determines the day you play. Beginners and less advanced players on Sunday 7 April, and advanced players with a playing strength of 7 or higher on 21 April.

The winners of the tournament on 7 April will qualify for the tournament on 21 April!

A squash clinic for players who want to improve their technique and tactics.

As there are only a limited number of places available, registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. An email confirming successful registration will be considered definitive.

Valerii Fedoruk is a highly experienced squash coach with WSF level-3. He is a 5-time Ukrainian champion and ranked number 148 in the world squash rankings. The working language during the clinic will be English.

We would like to invite you to Match Night on 13 April, an evening full of squash fun with players of different levels. Afterwards, you can enjoy a chat with a drink and a complimentary bitterbal from eetcafé Thijs.

Previously, we organised this event once a month, but from now on it will take place on the second Thursday of the month. Our main goal is to create a convivial and relaxed atmosphere. Bjarni, (coach at Match), and I (an active squash player), will ensure everyone plays as much as possible at their own level.

Squash Ladies' Night

Enjoying a good squash session with only ladies; that's our Squash Ladies Night. After playing squash, we often have a drink or a small bite with a complimentary bitterball.
The Squash Ladies Night is held once a month on a Thursday from 19:30 to 21:30. Learn new tactics and then play against different ladies; an opponent for every level.
The cost for non-members is €10, which includes a drink and a bitterball.
Members pay £5

For the Gentlemen, a similar evening will be organised on a different Thursday of the month.

Club Championship Match 2018

The club championships are approaching again; on Saturday 24th November, the top spots at Sportclub Match will be contested. The tournament, where sportsmanship and good company are paramount, is open to everyone, so players of all levels are welcome to register. The scheduling will depend on the number of participants, but the committee aims to divide players into categories based on skill level.

Tournament start: 12:30 PM to 5:00 PM

First prize: Squash racket
2nd prize: Squash shoes
3rd prize: Meal for 2 at Thijs

Afterwards, a buffet at the bar with satay, bread, and salad
